Sunday, August 22, 2010 at 11:46PM
The huge mothership jet of Billionaire Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic's space fleet suffered a collapsed landing gear on thursday in California's Mojave Desert. The FAA is reporting that there have been no injuries.
WhiteKnightTwo is the powerful mothership for the fleet. It has been designed to to haul Virgin Galactic's commercial SpaceShipTwo to a release altitude of 50,000 feet.
Tickets are available at the recesssion busting price tag of $200,000 per person.
This selfish and indulgent act of fiscal irresponsibility will enable the passenger aboard the space craft to experience and view the following:
The utter blackness of space.
An aerial view of Earth and all of it's natural resources withering away, right before your very eyes.
The faces of up to 5 other rich assholes who payed the price just so they could say they were among the first.
A masochistic bonus in an impending visit to Space is of course is the risk of losing muscle mass.
